My Google + page is fun to work on as is this website. Both give me the opportunity to introduce myself to yet a different crowd. Both pages allow me to expand my reach to people who would not normally know of my services.
Each time a client comes in I take a second to ask how they found me. This summer I have noticed that a greater number of clients have taken the effort to do a search on Google for "bike repair Peterborough" or "bicycle repair Peterborough". In fact almost every time a person searched for a bike repair shop, they used either the first set of words or the second.
Taking it up a notch may involve some more creative techniques for getting my name out there, and I'll be playing around with that for next year. The question I am asking myself, is what I plan on doing for the colder seasons. How would I keep clients coming in during the winter? Not sure about that just yet. I'm hoping I'll find some cool marketing ideas that will pull in more clients as I definitely want to be serving clients as the snow falls.
So here's to creative marketing techniques and hats off to Google search.
